Solutions Architect/Application Engineer at Flex Logix
Mountain View, CA, US

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Pre sales and post sales technical support for Flex Logix eFPGA products. Show

customers how to use EFLX reconfigurable logic arrays hard IP and software to bring

flexibility to their chips. Work with Architects and Front End Designers about how to rearchitect

their chips and RTL to integrate flexibility where needed while hard-wiring the

rest. Develop architectural solutions for SoCs and MCUs to help customers utilize eFPGA

to improve the flexibility and capability of their chip architectures. Work with marketing,

sales and engineering on application notes and articles.

Must be willing to travel: USA, Asia, Europe, Israel. Customers typically work with us

over Webex but we often need to meet initially and periodically during evaluation and

implementation.

Report to the Director Solutions Architecture. Work closely with the sales on customer

calls and with engineering on learning our hardware and software technology.

 

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIRED

 

Knowledge of FPGAs and FPGA tools. Experience as an FPGA application engineer

preferred, especially Xilinx FPGAs.

- Good knowledge of VHDL or Verilog is a must

- C/C++ experience is desirable

- PCB board design/debug experience is desirable

Must be interested and willing to learn about Neural Network Inference processing.

In addition, having at least 3 years of experience as an SoC, MCU or ASIC designer is a

plus

- preferably at a public chip or systems company

- both architecture and front-end design;

- experienced in dealing with physical design teams and understanding of the

digital EDA flow

Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Must be passionate about doing this job: wanting to change the world and work hard

doing it.

Must be entrepreneurial in spirit and an innovative problem solver.

BS EE/CS or higher.

Must live in Silicon Valley.

 

Must have US citizenship, permanent residency (“green card”), or H-1B visa.
