Product Designer at Owlet Baby Care

Owlet Baby Care is a venture-backed startup based in Lehi, Utah, just outside of Salt Lake City. It was founded in 2013 by a team of passionate parents who launched a groundbreaking product called the Owlet Smart Sock. This market-exclusive innovation tracks the heart and oxygen levels of newborns and notifies parents via smartphone if levels leave preset ranges. Owlet’s mission is to empower parents with the right information at the right time, and our vision is for every family to have peace of mind when they take their baby home from the hospital – this is where you come in.

Is an amazing company culture as important to you as it is to us?

  • We invite all points of view into conversation for the goal of seeking truth and ensuring commitment from ourselves and others.
  • We act like owners. When we see a problem, we own it and solve it. When we’re given a goal, we deliver. We are committed to holding strong through the storm, even at the hardest of times, because the finish is worth it.
  • We are not bound by traditional “wisdom.” We consistently encourage ourselves and others to reject nature and go for the impossible. We create a safe environment for team members to stretch for new personal heights.
  • We believe you can’t build a business without building the people inside of it. We’re constantly learning and growing. As a company, we find opportunities to build our team and give them tools to achieve greatness and opportunities for personal breakthroughs.
