In fact 62% of homes live in a monopoly broadband market. High-speed access unlocks all the superpowers on the internet. Common Networks provides suburban neighborhoods with internet using wireless technology. We interconnect homes in a neighborhood, creating a mesh network between homes and our fiber internet sources. A whole community can then have fast and reliable internet service with only a few locations needing fiber access.

Role
As the company's first Product Marketer, you’ll drive the strategy and approach to launch our products and features, and own communications with our customers.  You'll lead all product marketing initiatives for the company.

What You Do

    • Understand and be an advocate for our current and potential customers
    • Define the go-to-market strategy for our products and features
    • Own customer communications and collaborate with other teams on creating the ideal customer journey
    • Collaborate closely with Product Managers on pricing and product offerings
    • Understand and own the overall analysis of our product offerings versus our competition
    • Write briefs, blog posts, and other marketing copy
    • Work with internal designers and external creative partners to create compelling marketing communications
    • Be an internal champion of our products and features
    • Track and analyze the impact of your work.

Who you are

    • Metrics Oriented: Analytical and metrics-oriented. You’re comfortable with data-driven decision making and judgment to run new marketing initiatives and improve our conversion
    • Ambiguity / Composure : Flexible and excited to work in a fast-paced, rapidly-evolving environment.

Requirements

    • 7+ years experience in marketing.  At least 3+ years experience in a Product Marketing role.
    • Strong written and verbal communicator
    • Preferably a background in marketing for technology companies
    • Excited to work in a startup environment on a team of fewer than 40 people
    • Bachelor’s degree.  MBA degree a plus.
