Pre sales and post sales technical support for Flex Logix’s products: NMAX Neural Inferencing and EFLX embedded FPGA. Responsible for assisting customers with the design and implementation of their product requirements utilizing Flex Logix neural network solutions and EFLX embedded FPGA IP. Work with customer ASIC and system architects on how to architect their ASICs and systems using Flex Logix products. Coordinate customer evaluation and technical support needs with Sales and R&D. Support customers, help them integrate Flex Logix’s solutions, train them, and consult on Flex Logix’s products and its optimal utilization. Work with marketing, sales and engineering on application notes and articles.
Must be willing to travelabout one week per month: USA, Europe, Israel for customer meetings and industry events where we make presentations or have booths to promote our products. Customers typically work with us over Webex but we often need to meet initially and periodically during evaluation and implementation.
Report to the Director Solutions Architecture. Work closely with Sales on customer calls and with engineering on learning our hardware and software technology.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIRED
Understanding of AI architectures for inferencing on the edge. Knowledge of Neural Network Inference processing and frameworks
•Extensive training and/or experience implementing Deep Learning applications with one or more of the major deep learning frameworks, such as Caffe or TensorFlow
•Familiar with CNN, DNN, LSTM, etc neural networks
•Experience with Tensorflow and/or Caffe
•Experience programming neural network graphs/accelerators into FPGAs
•C, C++ experience is a plus
Knowledge of computer systems architecture & key high-speed interfaces: PCI-express, LPDDR4/5, etc
We have solutions architects/application engineers now who are very experienced in the use of eFPGA –these people will train you on what you need to know regarding eFPGA.
Knowledge of VHDL or Verilog is a plus
Comfortable in a hands-on lab environment
PCB board design/debug experience is desirable
In addition, having at least 5 years of experience as an SoC, MCU or ASIC designer is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication and mentoring skills, and an enthusiastic presentation style.

BS EE/CS or higher.
Must live in Silicon Valley.
